6 June 2022 15:30 GMT, 09:30 EST Present: Angeline, Mack, and John; Apologies: Kate and Alexa
- John tackled two outstanding website issues, Angeline and Alexa provided reviews.
- John brought up Issues #15 and #16 for discussion. These are things that don't really need to be tackled because we currently have a submission and review system that works. Angeline suggested keeping them open, because they might be useful to do in the future (if we get a website person again). However, Angeline agreed that they are not a priority and not something we should tackle ourselves. John volunteered to create a "Future" milestone and assign these issues to that milestone, allowing us to keep the ideas around, but not expend energy on them.
- Angeline tasked herself with the remaining low-hanging issues after which a new version of the website will be released.
- Mack put together a slide to share ELSP at CEDAR and ran it by everyone between the last meeting and this one. It is currently ready to share.
- No progress was made on the Letter article, but all agreed we should submit it as a perspectives article to the Frontiers Special issue (abstracts due June 30). Mack agreed to start working on the pub release and Angeline agreed to start working on the abstract. Notes were added to the overleaf document with helpful information.
- John initiated contact with the Athena Swann people at his new institution, but progress is slow. He asked to be tasked with using ELSP as a standard practice for the department to ensure progress continues.
- Angeline - Write up minutes, tackle website issues, add to Letter article, submit Letter abstract, put together slides (TESS), set next meeting date.
- Alexa - Print and deliver business cards, add to Letter article, provide pull request reviews.
- Kate - Add to Letter article and provide pull request reviews.
- Mack - Add to Letter article, put together an ECA, start a feedback form for submitters, and provide pull request reviews.
- John - Work with Athena Swann program, triage low-importance website Issues, add to Letter article, provide meeting links, and provide pull request reviews.
