Discussed NRL employee difficulties

  • No NRL affiliations can be used when discussing ELSP
  • NRL Public Relations is interested in featuring ELSP in the Dish, to do this they suggested making a post on pipeline once we're live for letter acceptance. Kate was very disappointed in this and didn't want to bother. Mack and Angeline were also disappointed, but Mack pointed out we should probably do it anyway. All concurred.
  • Angeline created a pull request to remove NRL affiliations from the webpage. We all discussed the new wording, updated the pull request, and merged it in to the main and develop branches.

Discussed the A&G article

  • The A&G article is ready to be published in October. When it is, we decided a link should be added to the homepage.

Discussed the website issues

  • John completed several issues, only two are remaining.
  • Angeline and Mack plan to take on the issue of adding the non-binary letters together.

Tasks for next meeting (4 October 2021 09:30 EST, 14:30 BST):

  • Angeline - Write up minutes, provide GitHub support, add to Letter article, tackle non-binary Issue for the next Milestone, and review PRs when tagged.
  • Alexa - Add to Letter article, tackle Issues for the next Milestone, and review PRs when tagged.
  • Kate - Promote ELSP with URSI women's group, add to Letter article, tackle Issues for the next Milestone, and review PRs when tagged.
  • Mack - Promote ELSP with CEDAR Task Force, add to Letter article, tackle non-binary Issue for the next Milestone, and review PRs when tagged.
  • John - Add to Letter article, create host link for the next meeting, tackle Issues for the next Milestone, and review PRs when tagged.
