Testing Data

In order to validate the efficacy of the classifiers, following the initial testing on simulated data, we will use samples drawn from the XMM pipeline products. For each phenomenon we select a sample of observations which are known to display the phenomenon of interest, and a second sample known not to contain the phenomenon. We list the specific samples of observations, and where appropriate the astrophysical objects with which they are associated, on the following pages:
