Persona Arthur Fisher
Arthur Fisher is 35 year old and works at two restaurants as a manager. His job is to find musicians to play at the restaurants depending on the restaurant’s needs. He has worked in this job for about 8 years now. He lives with his wife and a daughter in Brooklyn. other then his job he teaches music at a music school. Arthur went to music school in many different countries and speaks Spanish, German and and can communicate in English when required.
As a music directory, Arthur’s usual day at work consists of contacting artists (musicians). He usually meets with up to two musicians a day to interview them for his restaurants. When Arthur has to set up an event in less than a week time, getting good new musicians/talent is not very easy in this short period of time. Not a lot of musicians get to hear about opportunities like this or be able to perform in such a short time.
On the other hand, When a lot of musicians do want to play at an event, there is not enough time to meet up with all of them. Arthur would love to have an online system where he can see the musicians profile, play their work and decide whether he wants that person to play at the event or not.He likes musicians who are friendly and willing to change the music depending on the crowd instead of someone who comes prepared with just one or two songs and that's all they feel comfortable playing all night.
Usually the environment he works in changes depending on the type of restaurant, crowd, genera of music being played that night. It's usually frustrating to keep up with all the musicians confirming their appointments over the phone. He has to be in the restaurant where it's loud and sometimes miss the call and thus may miss important information such as schedule changes. He would love to have something like an app which can help make his job easy just by clicking a few buttons.
