…docs/legacy.md The root README now explains only the current (v4) system, with a more detailed high-level architecture walkthrough (emit -> store -> read, the measurement_id upsert key, SCHEMA_VERSION, and the two-layer cache) that points at docs/architecture/ for depth. Everything about the previous generations (the v2/v3 comparison table, the rebuild rationale, the legacy Rust quick start, and the teardown inventory) moves to the new docs/legacy.md. Also corrects stale cutover claims throughout: bench.vortex.dev is served by the v4 Vercel deployment and monorepo CI dual-writes directly to RDS, so the docs no longer describe the DNS and emitter cutovers as pending.
