Someone once told me a dotfiles repo tells your life story.  So aside
from the convenience of being able to grab my dotfiles on new
machines, I've been trying to find older historical dotfiles repos I
had in the past (often in VCSes like cvs and darcs) and merge them
into one continuous timeline.
