v0.7.0 New Toolheads, release for RMRRF
This version is essentially the printer that I showcased at RMRRF. Toolchanging has not been setup, and in fact the locking mechanism itself fails with high vibrations. I should have released this before the event.
New Features:
- Pnp Toolhead
- CRTouch head
- LCD display mount
- Backing wall for all toolheads
Fixes:
- Fixed X joints config error introduced in v0.5.3
- Fixed Assembly mates
- Adjusted build plate frame parts
- Redo corner stiffeners for M5 screws and adjusted distance
- Changed Z endstop to be side mounted instead of top mounted
- Aligned toolhead kinematic mount to have proper 45 degrees contact angle
- Cutout more plastic in hotend cooling fan mount to increase airflow
Parts to Reprint:
All of them, I have not kept track of that until now.
v0.5.7 Fixed motor mount hole diameter
The hole diameter was too small to account for the motor rim on the mounts.
v0.5.6 Made ducts thinner
The cooling fan ducts are now thinner, and the issue with the attachment plate not being flush with the duct is fixed now.
v0.5.5 Redesigned toolhead
v0.5.3 Fixed Tolerances
I adjusted the hole tolerances in the CAD model to account for some shrinkage, the rest accounted for by the slicer settings. I am still concerned about total part shrinkage of dimensions, I'm not sure if it will pull the parts to tilt the belt paths in funky ways.
v0.5.2 Adjusted locations, calibration part
I added a calibration part. I also made a lot of small tweaks to parts to actually fit together. The bottom electronics parts are a lot different.
v0.5.1 Redesigned XY gantry
After some conversations with other members of the 3D printer community, some felt that the XY motion system design is too close to the original ZeroG mercury printer design. I have decided to make some modifications to the look without impacting functionality.
