This commit resolves a "404: NOT_FOUND" error on Vercel by preventing the application from failing during the build process. The `init_db()` function was being called in the global scope of `app.py`, which caused it to execute in Vercel's read-only build environment. This resulted in a failed build and a 404 error on the deployed site. By removing the automatic call to `init_db()`, the application can now build and deploy successfully. A diagnostic `main.py` file has also been added to help with any further troubleshooting.
