Student Note Types

When double-clicking a student card, the dialog that appears now has four options

Validate Student Data

When a student first visits the Learning Platform, it now verifies two things:

1. The student's name has been entered on Github
2. The student has joined the cohort's Github Organization

Student must complete the above requirments before viewing the dashboard.

Assessments

This release includes a new workflow for recording an assessment for a learner:

• Button added to student interface that, when clicked, notifies instructors via Slack.
• When coach marks assessment complete, a dialog appears where each learning objective has to be verified and a note must be entered.

Student Transfers

The student detail overlay now includes buttons to perform the following actions:

• Permanently delete all student records.
• Soft delete student records. User account remains but all previous progress through the course is removed (useful for restarts).
• Transfer student to a different cohort

Viewing Multiple Cohorts

Instructors can now view students in each active cohort in the student card list instead of needing to switch to a cohort in the cohort list.

Student transfers

Instructor can click hyperlink next to the student's name and choose which cohort the student is assigned to.

Initial public release for use by all instructors

Includes base functionality to add students, track objectives, record daily status and build teams.
