The latest version of spring boot as of 4.0.3 is still using infinispan 15.2.6.Final which doesn't support spring's newest versions.
in this pull request the infinispan version is updated to 16.1.0.

@mhdb96 thanks but things are a little backwards here. Infinispan, who provides a Spring Boot starter, did not offer a Spring Boot integration. It's an unfortunate chain of events but 16 was released too late to pick it up.

As far as Inifinspan is concerned on our side, there is no notable problem. If you wish to benefit from their spring support, you'll have to override the version. We can consider the upgrade for 4.1 though and we don't need a PR for that.
