Refactors IPC subsystem to use abstractions for it's implementation.
Also adds a single-channel RabbitMQ implementation, to mirror behavior from the unix socket implementation.
This PR does not include refactoring the existing RabbitMQ code into base units.
I did not test functionality, but nothing should have changed much for unix sockets.
