I am a PhD student in Computational Imaging group at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), working with Prof. Wolfgang Heidrich.
Education:
- 2020 - now, MS/PhD in Computer Science, KAUST.
- 2016 - 2020, BS in Physics, USTC.
Research:
- Differentiable optics. Automated design for complex optical systems (lenses, diffractive elemenets, AR/VR displays).
- End-to-end computational imaging. Bridge the sim2real gap for image simulation and jointly design optics-algorithm systems.
We developed an awesome differentiable ray tracer DeepLens for optical design and high-fidelity image simulation, check the code! I’m open to discussion and collaboration, feel free to reach out! I also like basketball, water and outdoor sports, and photography. Contact: xinge.yang@kaust.edu.sa
