In this project, we chose to analyze job satisfaction trends in the tech industry, utilizing Stack Overflow's 2024 Developer Survey data to pull trends from.
Due to the growth in popularity of remote and hybrid work during and after COVID-19, and with many companies wanting to move people back into the office after the pandemic, we wanted to delve deeper into this and observe how job satisfaction might scale with additional factors such as age, salary, and education.
Previous research tends to support the idea of remote and hybrid work bringing more work-life balance, flexibility, and engagement, leading to greater job satisfaction.
