The example json request in the readme is incorrect. The JSON parser actually expects a rootResourcePath element, as far as I can tell.
Maybe my dvipdfmx command is different on RHEL 6, but it expects to be called with
dvipdfmx -o OUTFILE DVIFILE, not as it was used in compile.rb.
