This needs to be backported to:

  • Humble
  • Jazzy
  • Kilted
  • Perhaps also the EOLs?

branch protection rules require the spellcheck job to pass, but it doesn't exist on the iron branch. I don't have the necessary permissions to override this.

@mjcarroll do you have the necessary permissions to force-merge this?

@christophebedard do we need to backport fix to eol branches? just curious, because i have never done that before... 🤔

yeah, I thought we could try backporting it to EOL branches, since Google seems to like linking to docs for old/EOL distros #6132 (comment)

I'm fine with closing this PR if we prefer, though
