Summary

Adds a JavaScript/TypeScript client SDK for the Agent Memory Server, following the same patterns as the existing Python and Java clients.

Features

  • Full REST API coverage matching Python and Java clients
  • All filter types (SessionId, Namespace, UserId, Topics, Entities, CreatedAt, LastAccessed, EventDate, MemoryType)
  • Working memory operations (get, put, delete, list sessions)
  • Long-term memory operations (create, search, get, delete)
  • Memory prompt endpoint
  • Error handling with specific error types
  • 118 tests with 100% coverage (statements, branches, functions, lines)
  • Dual module output (ESM + CJS)
  • TypeScript declarations included

  • Name: @redis/agent-memory-client
  • Dependencies: ulid
  • Dev dependencies: TypeScript, tsup, vitest, eslint, prettier

Fix extraction debounce to only set after successful extraction

- Split should_extract_session_thread into check-only function
- Add set_extraction_debounce to set key after success
- Reduce default debounce from 300s to 30s
- Failed extractions no longer block retries

Implement trailing-edge debounce for memory extraction

Extraction now waits for N seconds of inactivity before running,
instead of running immediately and blocking subsequent extractions.
This ensures extraction captures the full conversation context.
