VeyraLock protects your sensitive data. It uses strong mathematics to lock your files and folders. Nobody can open your personal information without the right password.
This tool hides your files from prying eyes. It uses a standard called AES-256-GCM. This is the same protection level that banks use. You can lock entire folders or individual documents.

- Find the file you just downloaded.
- Double-click the file to start the installer.
- Follow the prompts on the screen to finish the installation.
- Open the VeyraLock icon on your desktop when the process ends.
- Open VeyraLock.
- Select the Encrypt tab at the top.
- Click the Browse button to pick the file or folder you want to hide.
- Create a strong password in the password box. Use a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols.
- Click the Lock button.
- The app turns your file into an unreadable format.
- Open VeyraLock.
- Select the Decrypt tab.
- Pick your locked file.
- Type your password.
- Click the Unlock button.
- The app restores your original file.
Strong encryption relies on your password. Use a unique password that you do not use on other sites. If you forget your password, you cannot unlock your files. The app does not store your password anywhere. You hold the only key to your data.
Keep your computer updated. Updates fix bugs and keep your system healthy. If you see a warning about a tampered file, do not open it. This alert means someone changed or damaged the file after you locked it.
Does this app connect to the internet? No. Everything happens on your computer. Your files never leave your machine.
What happens if I lose my password? There is no "forgot password" button. The security model prevents password recovery. Write your password down and keep it in a safe place.
Can I move locked files to a USB drive? Yes. You can move, copy, and send your locked files anywhere. They remain locked until you open them with the VeyraLock application.
How do I uninstall the software? Open your Windows Settings, go to Apps, and find VeyraLock in the list. Click Uninstall to remove the program.
