Description

This PR prepares for the publication at crates.io.

This PR provides...

  • an updated README
  • a CONTRIBUTIONS file
  • a revision of Cargo.toml ensuring that all fields, keywords, etc. are set ready for publication on crates.io
  • an update of the documentation of this crate
