The tool was originally developed by Isaac Westerman as part of his Bachelor's thesis. The code is based on [tcp-learner](https://github.com/pfg666/tcp-learner), a TCP protocol-state fuzzer developed by Paul Fiterau and Ramon Janssen.

Paul Fiterau and Ramon Janssen implemented [tcp-learner](https://github.com/pfg666/tcp-learner), the first incarnation of the tool.
Isaac Westerman, as part of his Bachelor's thesis, updated the tool (see repository [here](https://github.com/GhishNchips/TCP-Fuzzer)) and renamed it to **TCP-Fuzzer**.
Development has since moved to this repository.
