How do I get set up?

Setup VCPKG (C++ package manager)

• Make sure you use Clang++ 18 https://clang.llvm.org/

Checkout submodules

git submodule update --init --checkout --recursive

Build paho-mqtt-c

cd ./external/paho.mqtt.cpp/externals/paho-mqtt-c/
mkdir build
cd build
cmake -DPAHO_BUILD_STATIC=TRUE -DPAHO_WITH_SSL=TRUE -DPAHO_ENABLE_TESTING=FALSE ..
make -j8

Install dependencies

apt install libfmt-dev
apt install libzmq3-dev
apt install autoconf autoconf-archive automake libtool
apt install libxi-dev libxtst-dev
apt install libxrandr-dev

Build package

cd build
cmake --preset default ..
make -j6

To run built package from m2e-bridge folder: ./build/m2e-bridge

eg: ./build/m2e-bridge configs/m2e-bridge.json

How do I build and run tests?

Build with tests

cd build
cmake --preset default -DENABLE_TESTS=ON ..
make -j6

To see all options for tests: ./tests --help

To list all tests: ./tests --list-tests

To list all tags: ./tests --list-tags

To run all tests: ./tests

To run tests with displaying successfull outputs: ./tests -s

To run spesific test: ./tests <test_tag>

eg: ./tests [nop_filtra]
