Change Description

The full_description.txt was written in Markdown & these tags appear in the F-Droid app description. I replaced them with HTML tags, which F-Droid renders.

Change Details

  • converted vertical list from Markdown to HTML
  • changed FEATURING from all caps to title case
  • for neatness converted subheadings to title case (first letters of all words in uppercase)
  • added italics where appropriate
  • joined seemingly orphaned sentences with related paragraphs
  • additional info was added to settings portion to pinpoint location of menu/settings

Questions

The app can export PNG. Are there any other formats that it can export? If so, we may want to add them to the description.

Does this statement belong to only the second item on the Eraser Tool feature, or both: "Erasing a point inside a path will create 2 new paths."? It's on the same line as the second occurrence, because I figured you were talking specifically about that. Yet, if it applies to both, we may want to signify this to the reader, which could be done by formatting.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do.

good day

Formatting & design changes were made to the full_description.txt file to improve readability. Please see PR for details.

Yeah, it belongs on the second item--sorry for the ambiguity there. Thankfully when 1.3.0 is released, the eraser tool functions just like a pen tool--except it erases portions of paths. That should be, well, much easier to document...

But yeah, other than that this all looks good to merge! Thanks for clearing those things up!

For closed paths, the entire path will become green, and you can draw a shape to erase from the path.
For open paths, individual points will become highlighted, and if those points are included in your eraser path, they will be deleted. Erasing a point inside a path will create 2 new paths.
<hh4>Eraser Tool</hh4>
When you select this tool, you can draw a shape to define the area you wish to erase. One of two things can happen depending on which path you want to erase from: 1. For closed paths, the entire path will become green, and you can draw a shape to erase from the path. 2. For open paths, individual points will become highlighted, and if those points are included in your eraser path, they will be deleted. Erasing a point inside a path will create 2 new paths.

Yeah I think I'd rephrase this to something like this to avoid confusion

When you select this tool, you can draw a closed shape to define the area you wish to erase.
<ul>
 <li>If you're erasing from a closed path, the overlapping part of the path and your eraser path will be erased.
 <li>If a point from an *open* path falls inside the eraser path, only that point will be removed. This will create two separate open paths on either side of the removed point.
</ul>

I mean of course this is convoluted and stupid and I made the eraser tool in 1.3 work like literally any bitmap/vector graphics eraser tool
