What this agent does

An autonomous HR assistant that answers employee questions about timekeeping policies, leave balances, and employee data. Uses a ReAct-style agent loop with three tools: RAG over HR policy documents, pandas dataframe queries on employee records, and arithmetic calculations. Ships with both a LangChain v1 and a modern OpenAI Responses API v2 implementation.

Note: The GAP protocol files (agent.yaml + SOUL.md) have been proposed to the upstream repo via PR #8. Once merged onto the default branch, the registry CI check that clones the repo for those files will pass automatically.
