Hi, Great extension!
I've added the functionality to hide files when .gitignore file is saved, as you suggested in the TODO. If there is anything unclear, any kind of error or modification that you think might be useful, please let me know.
In addition to this if there is some error in using TypeScript or the VSCode APIs, sorry but I used TS very little and is my first time with VSCode extension.
