Important notes

Because the application is not signed, macOS Gatekeeper may prevent it from opening. You can bypass this using one of the following methods. (Caveat: run only trusted builds.)

Method 1: Context Menu

  1. Right-click on the app icon,
  2. select "Open" from the context menu, and
  3. select "OK" in the dialog below.

Method 2: Terminal (If you only see "Move to Bin") If macOS shows an error that it "could not verify 'Tiny Wi-Fi Analyzer.app' is free of malware" with no option to open it, you must manually remove the quarantine attribute.

  1. Open Terminal.
  2. Run the following command (assuming you placed the app in your Applications folder):
   xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Tiny\ Wi-Fi\ Analyzer.app
  1. Launch the application normally.

On macOS 14 Sonoma and later, Location Services permission is required to get Wi-Fi SSIDs. Please enable Location Services by following the instructions.
