Installation

You can install the package via composer:

composer require nettsite/messenger

You can publish and run the migrations with:

php artisan vendor:publish --tag="messenger-migrations"
php artisan migrate

You can publish the config file with:

php artisan vendor:publish --tag="messenger-config"

This is the contents of the published config file:

return [
];

Optionally, you can publish the views using

php artisan vendor:publish --tag="messenger-views"

Laravel Fortify

If your application uses Laravel Fortify (e.g. the Livewire starter kit), Fortify's auth routes conflict with the Messenger Filament panel's auth routes. Add the following to FortifyServiceProvider::register():

public function register(): void
{
    Fortify::ignoreRoutes();
}

This lets the Messenger panel own its own auth routing. Fortify's action classes remain available and unaffected.

Usage

$messenger = new NettSite\Messenger();
echo $messenger->echoPhrase('Hello, NettSite!');
