Summary

  • Rewrites README with freedom-first broadcast narrative modeled on oneye's philosophical opening
  • Adds Signal UX hero screenshot, GitHub Sponsor badge/links, and "rent free" energy
  • Aligns all terminology with Signal UX redesign (Start Broadcast, host/engineer/caller roles)
  • Closes with a quiet talk hard.

What changed

  • New: 4-paragraph mission narrative (scenario → philosophy → technical manifesto → multiplier)
  • New: Hero image from live demo (docs/screenshots/studio.png)
  • New: Sponsor badge, nav link, and dedicated section
  • Modified: Tagline → "Your voice. Your frequency. No permission required."
  • Modified: ASCII diagram labels (Host/Caller), feature bullets (broadcast terminology), Try It steps (Start Broadcast), How It Works description, closing sign-off
  • Kept: Badges, Quick Start, comparison table, Architecture link, Development, Contributing, License

Test plan

  • Open README on GitHub — hero image renders, markdown formatting correct
  • Verify all links work (demo, bug report, sponsor, architecture docs)
  • Comparison table data unchanged
  • Quick Start commands unchanged
  • Read opening paragraphs aloud — feels like oneye's sibling, not a feature sheet
