In the scope of my master’s thesis, I implemented a new approach for detecting electrodes in 2D view images. The detection method leverages shape, color, and region information, improving accuracy compared to previous approaches.
To ensure unified views across different participants, mesh standardization was added. This process includes aligning orientations and removing redundant information, which allows for consistent representation of the meshes for downstream analysis.
The main business logic and processing code have been added to
src/processing_models/{mesh, electrode}. These changes form the core of the new electrode detection and mesh standardization workflow, enhancing both reliability and consistency of the data processing pipeline.
