Specifically, `_file_extension` was renmaed to `file_extension`, so all snapshots were being emitted as `.raw` files.

Specifically,
_file_extensionwas renmaed tofile_extension, so all snapshots were being emitted as.rawfiles. This should ensure tests continue to pass in CI.
