When using syncproxy outside of docker, the environment variable approach gets cumbersome.
This is heavily cookbooked from your existing work in wsproxy. I don't really have a clue what I'm doing in golang.
[EDIT]: Also, I have not completed enough testing to pull the [WIP] mark off this PR yet. I will update the PR title and notes here when I have sufficiently tested the changes.[EDIT]: Tested and appears functional without regression
