My game engine required them so I decided to add support for it and share if it might be useful.
But, working with json felt ugly, and the opaque void pointer to JSON object might not be ideal, perhaps there is nicer way of doing that :)
this also updates the table calls to the more recent compiler version (return values are flipped around)
