I'm a Radiation Oncology Physicist who traded dosimetry calculations for neural network architectures -- and somehow ended up building both. My career started in the precision world of medical physics, where fractions of a millimeter determine patient outcomes. That obsession with precision followed me into software engineering, where I now architect autonomous AI agent systems, full-stack products, and developer tools across 60+ repositories in 10 programming languages.
I'm the Founder of AlienNova, a bestselling author, an entrepreneur, and -- most importantly -- a father. Every project I ship is guided by a simple question: does this make someone's life measurably better?

My Journey
From calibrating linear accelerators to calibrating large language models -- my path has been anything but linear. I earned my stripes in Radiation Oncology Physics, spending years ensuring cancer patients received precisely the right dose of radiation at precisely the right location. That discipline -- measure twice, compute thrice, verify everything -- became the foundation of my engineering philosophy.
The transition to software happened organically. I started writing Python scripts to automate treatment planning workflows, then built full applications for clinical teams, then realized I was spending more time coding than in the clinic. When LLMs arrived, I saw the same pattern I had witnessed in radiation therapy: a transformational technology that needed careful, precise engineering to deliver its potential safely.
Today I build at the intersection of AI, health, and developer experience. My work spans from autonomous agent frameworks like Lumina AI and Prometheus, to consumer products like KetoWell and Harmony Care, to developer tools like Claude Code Pro and VoiceCode. Every project carries the same DNA: rigorous architecture, comprehensive testing, and relentless focus on the end user.
I write books because teaching forces clarity. I build in public because accountability accelerates quality. I ship fast because the problems I'm solving can't wait.
