This was a serious question. :) I just saw that our readme on singularity was sitting in a separate branch.

• pros:
  • we can point people to this repository for some first steps when using singularity.
• cons:
  • we might get further questions once people run into errors
  • my main reason for initial question: I'm not sure this is good enough for the purpose of using it as a beginner tutorial
