📖 About Dr. Fue

Dr. Kadeghe Goodluck Fue is a Senior Lecturer and Researcher at the Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) in Morogoro, Tanzania. His work sits at the intersection of agriculture, technology, and innovation, with a strong focus on solving societal problems through AgRobotics, Precision Agriculture, and Software Systems.

He specializes in systems engineering, machine vision, robotics, and knowledge-driven agricultural services that support sustainable farming and community development.

  • PhD in Engineering (Machine Vision & Agricultural Robotics) – University of Georgia, USA (2016–2020)
  • MSc in Agricultural and Biological Engineering – University of Florida, USA (2012–2014)
  • BSc in Computer Engineering & Information Technology – University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania (2007–2011)

EPALAB (Electronics and Precision Agriculture Lab)

  • Web Service APIs (2016–2019): Built integrations for the College of Business Education (CBE) with Government Central Payment System, TCU, NACTE, and banks (CRDB, NMB, NBC).
  • Tomato Business Access Information System (2016): Developed a value-chain platform with SMS response integration for EPINAV.
  • m-IMAS: Created a mobile integrated market access system using KANNEL SMS infrastructure for Trans-Sec.
  • SUASIS Mobile Payment Integration: Connected SUA student information systems with payment gateways.
  • WebGIS Systems: Delivered mapping applications for TRANS-SEC using MapServer and OpenLayers.
