Hmm, this doesn't seem to work - I pushed it to my repo and set All repositories on the Renovate Configure page.
It probably only applies to self-hosted Renovate. 🤔

I think the only solution then is remove the fork status on this repository.

It will work if we explicitly specify the repo on the Renovate Configure page, but that's the Organization level.
At least that's how it worked in my repository.

Ok then we need an organization admin (@anthonylavado or @joshuaboniface) to change that 👍

forkProcessing only works with renovate.json in the root of the repo.

So we have 3 options:

  1. Move renovate.json to the root and add "forkProcessing": "enabled". I believe that in this way Renovate will also run on the forks of our fork. Undesired?

  2. Configure Renovate App to only run on selected repos. Can be configured more selectively, but in the worst case, we will have to add each repo.

  3. Remove the fork status. Too radical?
