Thanks for the suggestion. As we continue to develop the Isaac Lab-Arena core, our primary mission is to provide a standardized, high-performance evaluation framework for exactly these kinds of SOTA models.

We designed Arena to be a modular "proving ground" such that benchmark builders and policy makers can build upon.

We highly encourage you (and the wider community) to build your model wrappers on top of the Arena interfaces. If you run into specific bottlenecks or missing API hooks while trying to evaluate a specific SOTA model, please let us know—we want to ensure the framework is flexible enough to accommodate the next generation of robotics research.
