A COVID-19 Tracker Android App for Filipinos
Built with Android Java + Firebase + Open APIs
OPUS.track is a mobile application I developed in 2020 at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic to help Filipinos stay informed with real-time data and updates. The app was created as part of a personal initiative under my former startup, OPUS.tech — hence the name.
The goal was to deliver a reliable and user-friendly tracker tailored for both national and local communities, including my home province of Palawan.
🧑💻 Note: This project was built when I was just starting out as a developer. At the time, I had little to no knowledge of version control (Git), software architecture, or clean coding standards. As a result, the codebase may not follow best practices — but it's a reflection of where I began and how I learned by doing.
