1. Download and run: http://msysgit.googlecode.com/files/Git-1.7.11-preview20120710.exe If you aren't sure about installation options you can just go with the defaults.

2. Open Git Bash

3. run ssh-keygen

4. Press enter 3 times to go with defaults

5. Open C:\Users{Your user name}.ssh\id_rsa.pub in a text editor

6. Open github in browser

7. Go to account settings (Upper right corner, wrench and screwdriver icon)

8. Click SSH Keys

9. Click Add SSH Key

10. Title can be any descriptive title of your computer. Paste the key from the text editor from step 5.
