🚀 How to Run Code Examples

Prerequisites

• .NET SDK that supports net10.0
• GroupDocs.Merger.LowCode license keys: the examples read them from the GD_PUBLIC_KEY and GD_PRIVATE_KEY environment variables and stop with an error when they are not set. A temporary license works too.
• Sample files (copied into each example folder)

Set Up the License

Option 1: Environment Variables (Recommended)

# Windows
set GD_PUBLIC_KEY=your-public-key
set GD_PRIVATE_KEY=your-private-key

# Linux/macOS
export GD_PUBLIC_KEY=your-public-key
export GD_PRIVATE_KEY=your-private-key

Option 2: Direct in Code

Edit the Program.cs file and replace the placeholder values:

var privateKey = "your-private-key";

Running Individual Examples

1. Navigate to an example directory:

   cd Examples/developer-guide/CopyTheCodeExample

2. Run the example:

   dotnet run

3. Look for the generated files in the example directory.

Running All Examples

• Windows (Command Prompt): run_all_examples.bat
• Windows (PowerShell): .\run_all_examples.ps1
• Linux/macOS: ./run_all_examples.sh

The scripts read the license keys from the environment variables. They skip the 3 examples that load a license file or keys from Program.cs; put your license into those files and run them individually.
