Seems like we may want to implement this workaround for the oracle instant client for noble if we want to make the update.

Otherwise Mesos was recently just moved to the Apache Attic in October 2025.

Mesos became a Top Level Project in June 2013, retired in August 2025 and the move to the Attic was completed in October 2025.

So I'd expect that later OSes are just dead in the water for Mesos.

So I'd expect that later OSes are just dead in the water for Mesos.

Indeed, I'm actually starting to have second thoughts about grouping the updates like this. With the previous lack of groups, we could ignore on a per-sample app basis, which likely is going to have to happen for mesos at least.

I'm letting this one sit for now until I have a touch more time to look into it, but indeed OracleDB needs to be updated as well :)
