• auth/terminal: term.Terminal assumes interactive terminal semantics and misbehaves when os.Stdin/os.Stdout is not a tty (pipes, files, CI). New now detects a terminal via term.IsTerminal and falls back to a bufio.Reader otherwise, printing the prompt manually and accepting input terminated by newline or EOF. Fixes #105.

Fixes

• bg: Connect could block forever because the client retries connection attempts indefinitely. Added WithStartupTimeout option (and ErrStartupTimeout sentinel) to bound the wait, and fixed a goroutine leak on the cancel/timeout paths. The Run callback now runs only once the primary connection is ready, so the client is safe to use right after Connect returns. Fixes gotd/td#731.
