Hi,

This PR comes with the following fixes:

  • the dot (.) character present in most human/mice assemblies is dealt with the very same way you handled the minus (-) and colon (:). The code has simply by locally duplicated.
  • The greater that symbol (>) in sequence names is now searched only in the first character. In some case, it can be repeated blast derived fasta files.
  • The string replacement performed to avoid warnings is reversed to give the original sequences names to user.
