Summary

  • Add a product judgment research workspace under instructor/product-judgment-research/.
  • Add scenario cards for the strongest loops from the Kody stash, including MVP triage, evidence weighting, decision rights, prototype-as-spec, enterprise pressure, feature framing, migration pain, API/DX judgment, fog-of-war experiments, and AI-era buy-versus-build.
  • Add raw-example capture, decision-record, follow-up contact, and outreach prompt templates.
  • Link the workspace from instructor/notes.md so future workshop/content work can find it.

Confidentiality

  • The buy-versus-build material is generalized and explicitly marked as confidential/anonymized.
  • No person, employer, industry, or specific private DM details are included for the confidential source.

Next Steps for Kent

  • Start follow-up with the direct-pain and high-signal sources in follow-up-contact-list.md.
  • Test the decision-record-template.md in one or two interviews before turning it into an exercise artifact.
  • Promote the strongest scenario cards into workshop exercises after validating which loops resonate most.

Validation

  • npx prettier --check "instructor/product-judgment-research/**/*.md"
  • git diff --check
  • Confidentiality grep for identifying buy-versus-build source terms returned no matches.
