Test plan

• Run npm test — all new and existing tests pass
• Submit KYC form: verify button shows "Confirming..." immediately, rolls back on error
• Toggle network offline/online in browser DevTools: verify status indicator updates and shakes when offline
• Watch the status dot monitoring pulse ring while autoCheck is active
• Trigger status change and verify the background flash overlay fires
• Press Ctrl+R with the indicator focused to verify keyboard refresh works
