This reverts commit 98c351a.
This commit updates the gemfile.lock contents, replaces Redcarpet with Kramdown per GH-pages new requirements, and cleans up the text formatting of some articles to ensure things work properly with the new renderer.

Featherlight has been removed in favor of Photoswipe. Implementation is the same as in the Getty Roman Mosaics project.
