It might be worth adding a "last reviewed" date somewhere to make it easy to tell at a glance whether this still reflects current policy or needs a refresh. |

Open source principles for our Codex, based on the UN https://opensource.un.org/en/news/united-nations-open-source-principles as suggested by Umberto Modigliani.
I've added explainer paragraphs how we see the principles applied in the ECMWF context.
