I made an optimization: when pressing the Alt key to enter Scroll Mode, pressing the Shift key while scrolling the wheel will make the viewport move horizontally.
This aligns more with user intuition, as horizontal scrolling is handled the same way in browsers, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and other software.
