The intended use for the Library is for Stories which are ongoing and get updated.

How to use the Library function

Warning: Library uses "Include in Reading List" from "Advanced Options". You can only use the Library if you don't use the "Include in Reading List" for the same EPUBs without the Library. (If you try it you are going to skip chapter)

  1. Click on "Add to Library" instead of "Pack EPUB". The EPUB gets Downloaded normally if it is your first time Downloading it. Before the "Save As" Dialog opens the EPUB is saved to your local Storage in the Browser.
  2. If a new Chapter got published for the same EPUB, when you click "Add to Library" only the new Chapter is downloaded and added to the saved EPUB in the local Storage.
  3. The "Save As" dialog opens with the EPUB which has all Chapters in it, not only the newly published one.

Add to Library

Downloads Selected chapter(s) and Adds them to the Library. If an EPUB with the same URL exists in the Library the chapters are added to this already existing EPUB. If there is no EPUB in the Library which matches the URL it is Added as a new Entry to the Library.

Library

Shows the saved EPUBs in the local Storage of the Browser with Additional Options.

Delete EPUB

Deletes the corresponding EPUB from the local Browser storage.

Search new Chapters

Pastes the Story URL from the corresponding EPUB in the Starting URL and tries to fetch the Chapters from the EPUB. Not all Websites work with this feature as the user have to sometimes navigate on the Website before pressing WebToEpub which isn't emulated.

Download EPUB

Downloads the corresponding EPUB from the local Browser storage to the Device.

Story URL

Intended use: The Story changed Websites e.g. if the translator doesn't want to continue anymore and another person proceeds to translate it on another Website from the last Chapter onwards. You add the first Chapter e.g. 1-10 to the Library and than Changes the Story URL to the new Site to add the missing Chapter e.g. 11-x to the same EPUB.

Filename

Is the Filename which is used if an EPUB get Downloaded from the local Storage. If you Add one Chapter to an EPUB the "Save As" Dialog opens with this Filename instead of the Filename specified under "Language".

Show Advanced Library Options

Check to show more Options for the Library.

Download Epubs after new Chapter got added automatically

If Checked EPUBs get Downloaded after Chapters are Added. If unchecked only the EPUBs in the local Browser storage get updated without Downloading to the Device.

Clear Library

Deletes All EPUBs from local Browser storage.

Upload Epub

Intended use: You have an EPUB file created with WebToEpub which contains Chapters 1-100.

  1. Click "Upload Epub" choose the EPUB file from your system.
  2. Wait until it is 'uploaded' to your local Browser storage.
  3. Add Story URL if it isn't automatically added.
  4. Go to the Story URL Website and and click WebToEpub.
  5. Unselect All Chapter and only select the last Chapter from your uploaded EPUB.
  6. Click on "Advanced Options" and check "Include in Reading List".
  7. Click "Pack EPUB" and save it. (You can delete the one Chapter EPUB immediately)
  8. Close WebToEpub tab.
  9. now you can use the Library like it is described here

Add Chapter from different EPUB

Intended use: You have an EPUB file created with WebToEpub which contains Chapters 1-100 and another EPUB with Chapters 101-200.

  1. Upload Epub with the Chapters 1-100
  2. Click on "Add Chapter from different EPUB" and choose the EPUB file with the chapters 101-200.
  3. Click on Download EPUB and Download the EPUB with Chapter 1-200.

Edit Metadata

Shows Metadata from the Epub with the option to Edit the Metadata.
