But the GT 220 only has 1 GB VRAM, not 2 GB |

ok but the example says its a gt 220, and it says "for this example" so it should apply to the gt 220 |

Original version is 1024 MB, which is quite bad since noobs could change all to 2048 and not first occurance of it.
So, I modified example to be 2048MB.
