Installation
StellaOS uses the official ArchISO environment and relies on archinstall for system installation.
This approach keeps the installation process simple, minimal, and fully aligned with upstream Arch Linux.
Steps
1.Boot the StellaOS ISO.
2.Connect to the internet (Wi-Fi or Ethernet). 3.Run the installer:archinstall
4.Follow the guided menu to configure: Disk partitioning
Desktop environment (GNOME, KDE, Hyprland, etc.) Bootloader
Users and passwords
Reboot after installation is complete.
Notes
StellaOS is intentionally minimal. No desktop environment is preinstalled.
Users are free to choose their preferred environment during installation.

StellaOS Dev 1.1 has been validated on real hardware:
Device: HP Envy Notebook
Firmware: Insyde BIOS (UEFI + Legacy support)
CPU: Intel Core i5-6200U (Skylake)
GPU: Intel HD Graphics 520 (Integrated, Skylake Gen9)
RAM: 4 GB
Storage: Kingston XS1000 External SSD (1TB) Installation: Full system installed and used as a daily driver
Bootloader, networking, audio, and Hyprland (Wayland) session verified functional under low-resource conditions.
External SSD automatic boot verified on HP Insyde BIOS (no manual boot selection required).
