Upgrade Go to version 1.24. Do a project-wide dependency upgrade. With Go 1.24+ we now have tools, which makes using mockgen that much easier. The other dependencies had security vulnerabilities, so it was time to upgrade.

Rationale: Security upgrades.
With Go 1.24+ we now have
tool, which makes using mockgen that much easier. The other dependencies had security vulnerabilities, so it was time to upgrade.Question for maintainer: Not sure what we should version this. I did this as a patch, but it could very well be a minor version. In that case, maybe x.3.0 not x.2.1? Feel free to make any and all edits.
